ApprovePilot is built by Bhavin Gopani, founder of PilotWorks — a one-person company in Surat, India, building small, honest tools for Shopify merchants who sell B2B.
The app exists because of a gap you can watch happening in the Shopify Community: in 2026 Shopify put real B2B machinery — company accounts, wholesale price lists, payment terms — on every paid plan, and left out the front door. Wholesale buyers still can't apply for an account; merchants still vet by gut and build every company by hand. We read months of merchant threads about that workflow before writing a line of code, and the ones that shaped the product are linked from our guides — which we keep useful whether you install anything or not.
How we work
- Guides first, honestly. Every guide answers a question a real merchant asked, links its sources, states the date facts were checked — and says plainly when the answer is "you don't need an app."
- Minimal footprint. No theme code, no checkout changes, no order permissions. Your B2B data lives in Shopify, not with us.
- Support is the founder. Every email to [email protected] is read and answered by Bhavin. Bug reports get fixed, not ticketed.
The two Pilots
PilotWorks makes two apps that complete Shopify B2B from opposite ends: ApprovePilot is the front door — who gets a wholesale account, on what terms. TermsPilot (at termspilot.app) is the back office — tracking what net-terms buyers owe and chasing it politely until it's paid. They're separate apps that work alone; if you offer payment terms to the buyers you approve, they happen to meet in the middle.
